"All Its Name Implies" Opens the Desertscape International Film Festival

Ev Durán and Monique Birtwell, producers of “All Its Name Implies,” were excited to attend the Desertscape International Film Festival in beautiful St. George, Utah. The documentary film was the the Opening Night Feature at the second-year festival, and although COVID-19 made for an occasionally unusual experience, the entire weekend was a resounding success. The film was very well-received by the audience, and the folks in attendance were touched by the stories of Paradise, and very curious how the town is doing as it moves forward.

Premieres of "All Its Name Implies"

On Friday, December 20th “All Its Name Implies” was revealed to the public for the very first time. The premiere was held at the El Rey Theater in Chico, California, and it was a wonderful experience. The landmark theater was packed, and the film received a standing ovation. Even better, the generous donations received from ticket “sales” totaled almost $5,000, all of which will be combined with the proceeds raised at future screenings and donated to worthwhile charities that support Paradise. The filmmakers are indebted to everyone in attendance.

The Paradise Premiere of the film is on Friday, January 10th at the Paradise Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available online through Eventbrite and on the film’s Facebook page. 100% of the proceeds raised from this event will be donated to the Paradise Rotary Foundation, in support of all of the wonderful work they are doing to help the town rebuild.

Stay tuned for updates on future screenings and an eventual online release! Thank you.
